This cast iron reproduction garage plaque features branding from BSA Motorcycles.
Launched in the early 1900's, BSA Motorcycles (inc Triumph) became the biggest seller of motorbikes in the world by the 1950's.
Increased pressure from Japanese manufacturers in the 50's and 60's eroded BSA's market share, leading to a government rescue in 1973.
This particular garage sign features a green background with a raised hand painted white, red and gold BSA logo in the centre.
The sign is carefully hand painted, with raised embossed lettering and detailing for additional effect.
Finished in a vintage style, pre-drilled holes make it easy to hang this plaque.
